The dialogue wasn't the best. It felt forced throughout the show. The cutaways and over-explaining of what happened to him when he was five was a little too much. Maybe one flashback would have been okay, but there were several.
The story wandered all over the place and nothing really happened.
This is of course just my opinion, you might have love it. I did not.
The mud or dirt eating the chick was also really strange. How did they explain that? She got stuck in the mud and then it eat her.
